You are the one people call. You deliver. You carry the family, the team, the small group, the friend in crisis. From the outside it reads as strength, and much of it genuinely is.
Therapist Adaeze Nwokolo joins us to talk about what capacity costs when it goes unexamined. We look at how competence becomes an identity, why capable women are the last to be offered help, and how tiredness learns to hide behind excellence.
Adaeze walks us through what recovery actually looks like in practice. Not a retreat you cannot afford, but the smaller and far more uncomfortable work of letting some things fall, telling the truth about your limits and tolerating how that feels.
We close on the theology of it. Being needed is not the same as being loved, and God has never asked you to be the reason everything holds.
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
