Show notes

Most of us learned to smooth our language before we say it. We take the edge off the doubt, soften the anger, translate the grief into something more acceptable. Then we wonder why we feel unknown in rooms full of people.

This episode is about the practice of naming. We look at what happens in the body when something true stays unspoken, and how much energy it takes to keep managing a feeling you refuse to acknowledge.

We are honest about the risk. Naming a tension can cost you a friendship, a role, sometimes a whole community. That risk is real and we do not pretend otherwise.

But we also make the case that faith is large enough to hold your unedited sentence. The doubt does not disqualify you. The naming is where the work begins.

Pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.
